Rock And Roll Dance Academy is down in the basement of Scf-63 in the Huda Market. It's in Sector 7, Faridabad, right near Satya Palace Hall. We have a decent sized floor for the classes. Mostly kids from the local area come here to learn some moves after school. We do some Bollywood, some freestyle, whatever people are asking for. The music can get loud but that’s how it is with dancing. It’s a bit of a climb down the stairs to get into the studio. We have big mirrors on the walls so everyone can see what they are doing. Sometimes the parents wait outside or in the market while the classes go on. It’s not one of those high-end fancy studios you see in movies, just a place to practice and get some exercise. We’ve been here for a bit now. The floor gets a lot of use. We usually start our main sessions in the late afternoon or early evening. If you’re walking through Huda Market, you’ll probably hear the speakers. It’s a simple setup. Nothing too complicated. We just teach the steps and keep the rhythm going. It’s a good way for the local teenagers to stay busy. We have water available and some benches to sit on when people take breaks. Sometimes we do small shows for the families. It keeps things interesting for the students.
