S N K K School Of Arts

The school is right here in Sector 21 C, basically right next to Police Chowki 5. If you're looking for us, just find the chowki and we are right there. It’s called S N K K School Of Arts, though we usually just call it the studio when we are inside. There are always brushes soaking in jars and the floor has bits of dried paint from years of kids and adults working on their projects. It is a bit messy, but that is how an art school should be, I think. We have people coming in at all hours to learn how to draw or paint better. It gets quite lively in the afternoons when the younger ones show up after their regular school is done. The light in the rooms is okay, but on cloudy days we have to turn on all the overhead lamps to see the colors right. We don't have any big slogans or fancy posters on the outside. People mostly find out about us from their neighbors or friends who live around here. It is just a place where you can sit down and focus on making something. Sometimes we run out of certain colors and have to wait for the supplies to arrive, but we make do with what we have. It’s a simple setup and we like it that way. No one here cares if you get charcoal on your shirt. That’s just part of the process.
