If you go down into the basement of SCF 76 in the Huda Market, that is where you will find us. We are in Sector 14 of Faridabad, right near that place called Hunger Cure where everyone goes to eat. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler in the summer, which is nice for us and the people who come in. Special Effects Hair Beauty & Makeup is the name on the door, but most people just know us as the shop downstairs. We have been doing hair and makeup for a while now, and the mirrors have seen a lot of faces over the years. It isn’t a huge space, but we have enough room for the stations and a small corner for people to wait. We don't put on any acts here. We just pick up the brushes and the scissors and get to it. Sometimes the market gets really crowded on the weekends, and you can hear the noise from the street coming down the stairs. We just keep working through it. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in Faridabad, just a reliable one for the people living around Sector 14. We use the same tools every day and keep them clean. It’s just a job, but we like the people who come through. Most of them are regulars who know where we are. We don't need anything fancy to get the work done right.
