Dekha Chahat Parlour

You can find us at Shop No 7 inside the Shubham Complex. This is over in Dayal Bagh Colony in Faridabad. We are pretty close to the Mamta Mandir, which is a big landmark around here. The complex itself has a few different shops, so there’s always people coming and going. Our space isn't very big, but we’ve made the most of it. We have a few stations for hair and skin treatments. The walls are painted a simple color and we have some posters up. It gets a bit noisy during the festival seasons because of the temple nearby, but we don't mind the energy. Most days it’s just the sound of scissors and the hair dryer. We see a lot of ladies from the colony who come in for their regular maintenance. We try to keep the wait times short, though sometimes things back up in the afternoon. We’ve got a small bench for people to sit on while they wait their turn. It’s a practical place for people who want to get things done quickly. We don't use any of those big fancy machines, just the standard tools that work. It’s been a steady business for us here in Shubham Complex. We know the neighbors and the other shop owners well. It feels like a little community where everyone knows everyone else. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the first customer to walk through the door.
