Kalu Hair Salon

Kalu Hair Salon is located right on Kheri Pul Road at the Old Chungi spot. If you know where Bikaner Sweets is, we are just opposite that. It’s a very busy road with lots of cars and bikes going past all day. Our salon is a straightforward place for men’s haircuts and shaves. We have the classic barber chairs and big mirrors. The floor is usually covered in some hair because we stay busy, but we sweep it when we can. It’s a local hangout as much as it is a salon. Men from the neighborhood come in to get a trim and chat about whatever is happening in Faridabad. We don't have air conditioning, just a few ceiling fans that spin fast to keep the air moving. It gets hot in the summer but nobody seems to mind much. We’ve been at this location for a long time. The Bikaner Sweets across the road is a good landmark for people who haven't been here before. We keep our tools clean and our razors sharp. That’s the most important thing. You don't need a lot of luxury to get a good haircut. Just a steady hand and a sharp pair of scissors. We open early in the morning and stay open until the evening rush is over. It’s a simple life and a simple shop. We don't take bookings over the phone, usually people just drop in when they see the chair is empty.
