Himanshu Saloons

You can find Himanshu Saloons at Shop No. 127 in the Huda Market. I’ve been in Faridabad for a long time, and this market has changed a lot, but we stay right here. It’s a busy place with a lot of shops nearby, so there is always someone walking past the window. We have a few chairs set up inside. The lighting isn't the brightest, but I can see well enough to do a clean job. A lot of the regular guys from the local offices come in during their break or after they finish work for the day. I keep a stack of newspapers on the table for when there is a line. It’s not a fancy salon with air conditioning that works all the time, but we have a good fan that keeps the air moving. I learned the trade from my uncle and eventually opened this spot in Huda Market. We do the usual stuff like head massages and beard trims. Sometimes the younger kids come in wanting something specific, and I do my best to match the picture they show me on their phones. Faridabad gets hot in the summer, so people come in just to get their hair cut short to stay cool. It’s a simple business. We don't use expensive products, just the stuff that works. We're here every day except for the weekly market holiday.
