Shashi Beauty Parlour

I run Shashi Beauty Parlour out of House No -2682 in the NIT area of Faridabad. We are located in Sector-7A, which is a quiet residential part of the city. Since the parlour is based in a house, it has a very different feel than the shops in the market. It is more private and relaxed for the women who come here. I started this because I wanted to work from home and help the ladies in my neighborhood with their beauty needs. We do everything from basic threading and waxing to hair coloring and simple facials. It is a very local setup. My customers are mostly my neighbors and their friends. We sit and talk about our families and daily chores while I work. It is a nice way to spend the day. In Faridabad, especially in the NIT area, everyone knows everyone, so news travels fast. If someone has a wedding to attend, they usually call me a few days before to book a time. The room I use is simple but tidy, with all the basic things I need. I don't have a big staff, it is mostly just me handling everything. People like coming here because it is comfortable and they don't feel rushed like they might in a big salon. It is just a small home business serving the Sector-7A community.
