Sbi Mutual Fund

We sit here in our little spot at V-127 in Gandhi Colony most days. It is just an ordinary office with a few desks and some old chairs for people to wait. We handle a lot of paperwork related to the mutual funds. People come in from around the neighborhood asking where to put their extra savings or how to fill out those long forms. Sometimes the fan makes a clicking sound but we get used to it. The morning starts with opening the shutters and cleaning off the dust from the ledgers. It gets quite busy around the end of the month when everyone realizes they need to get their taxes sorted or check on their balances. We are not some big glass building in the city center. This is just a quiet corner where we keep track of things. You might see some of us grabbing tea from the stall nearby during the afternoon lull. It is mostly about filing documents and making sure the names match the ID cards. We have been here for a bit now and know many of the faces who walk through the door. It is just a regular job for us, keeping the records straight and helping out when someone gets confused by the banking terms. There is always a pile of folders waiting on the desk when we arrive. We just take it one person at a time until it is time to close up and go home to our families.
