Sangam Plastic

Sangam Plastic is right here at shop number 14 in the Main Market of Sarai Khwaja. Most days start pretty early because that is when the trucks come in with new stock for the shelves. We have rows of plastic buckets, mugs, and those big drums people use for water storage. It gets a bit crowded inside the shop with all the stacks, but that is just how it is here. You can find us easily because we usually have some of the colorful chairs sitting out front on the pavement. People from all over the neighborhood stop by when they need something basic for their kitchen or bathroom. It’s not a fancy place by any means. The walls could probably use some new paint and the fan makes a bit of noise when it’s on high. Sometimes the market gets so loud with the traffic outside that we have to shout a little to be heard over the horns. We spend a lot of time just rearranging things so everything fits in. It’s a lot of lifting and moving boxes around every single afternoon. Most of the customers are people we’ve known for years, coming in for a new laundry basket or just to ask about a specific size of container. We keep things simple and just focus on getting through the day's work. It’s been this way for a long time now in this corner of the market. There’s always someone stopping by to check a price or look at the new colors of tubs we got in.
