Royal Retreat

Royal Retreat is located out in Kheri Kalan, which is a village post office area in the Faridabad district. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but that’s what makes the place what it is. We handle the daily upkeep and the guests who come through looking for a bit of a break from the noise. The buildings need constant attention because of the Haryana weather, so there is always someone fixing a pipe or painting a wall. We don’t have a big team of suits running the show. It’s mostly just a few of us who know the property inside and out. The local roads can be a bit bumpy depending on the season, but once you get here, it’s fairly calm. We spend our mornings checking the rooms and making sure the grounds are tidy. It’s a lot of physical work and we stay on our feet most of the day. We don't follow a strict corporate handbook; we just use our common sense to get things done. People from the surrounding villages often stop by to chat or help out with the heavier tasks. It’s a practical way to run a business and it seems to work for us. We just keep our heads down and keep the place going without making too much of a fuss about it. We have been part of this community for years and enjoy the rhythm.
