Resturent 7 Days

The street is usually full of people, and our little place sits right in the middle of the action. It is not a big fancy dining hall. We have a few tables and the kitchen is right there where you can hear the pots clanking. We spend most of our time prepping food or cleaning up after the lunch rush. Haryana can get quite dusty, so we are always wiping down the counters. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us doing everything from taking orders to washing dishes. It is a lot of hard work and the hours are long, but that is what it takes. People from the neighborhood stop by because they know where we are. We don't do much advertising; we just keep the doors open and hope for the best. The building is nothing to look at from the outside, but inside we try to keep it decent. Sometimes the stove gives us trouble or the lights flicker, but we just fix it and keep going. It’s a local spot for local people, and we like the rhythm of the street. It is just how we live and work every day, making sure things are ready for whoever walks through the door next.
