My family has been around the NIT area for a long time. People usually come to Priya Electronics when something at home stops working or they need a new wire for their TV. It gets pretty busy here in the afternoons. I started this place a while back because I always liked tinkering with old radios and circuit boards. Now it is mostly LED TVs and microwave ovens that people bring in for me to look at. The shop is at number 51, and it is not very big, but we keep a lot of spare parts on the shelves. Sometimes it feels a bit cluttered with boxes and half-finished projects, but I know where everything is kept. If you walk past the main market, you will see our old sign hanging there. I spend most of my day behind the counter testing components or talking to neighbors who just drop by to say hello. It is a simple life and we like it that way. We don't have a fancy website or any of that modern stuff. People just know us from word of mouth over the years. Sometimes the power goes out in the area, and we just sit outside on plastic chairs and chat until it comes back. Dealing with electronics means you have to stay patient. You have to look at the small parts very carefully. I enjoy the work, even when it is very hot outside. Faridabad has changed a lot lately, but this corner stays mostly the same.
