One Touch Beauty Parlour

One Touch Beauty Parlour is located right at Plot No 1067 in Sector 55 here in Faridabad. We have been in this spot for a good while now. The shop is easy to find if you know the sector well. Every morning I come in and roll up the metal shutters which always make a bit of a racket. I start by sweeping the floor because the dust from the road outside always finds a way inside during the night. Our chairs are the old-fashioned black ones and they are still quite sturdy even after all these years of use. The walls are painted a light shade that has faded a bit where the sun hits it in the afternoon. We have a few big mirrors and I try to keep them clean with newspaper so they don't get those annoying streaks. The water heater can be a bit moody in the winter months and takes its time to warm up. Most people who come in live just a few blocks away in the colony. We keep our combs and scissors in a plastic tray on the side table. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just open the front door wide to let the daylight in while we wait. It is a simple place with a ceiling fan that wobbles a little when it is on high speed. We just do our work day by day and talk with the neighbors.
