Nancy Beauty Collection

Nancy Beauty Collection is tucked away in Jawahar Colony at Shop No -979. We are on Gurudawra Road, right in the NIT 1 part of Faridabad. It is a busy street, especially with the post office being so close by. My shop is filled with all sorts of small things like hair clips, bangles, and different kinds of makeup. It’s not a huge place, so every bit of wall is covered with stuff hanging on hooks. I spend a lot of time untangling things or helping someone find the exact shade of thread they need. The lighting inside isn't the best, but we make do. It gets quite crowded in the afternoons when women from the colony come out after finishing their housework. Sometimes they just come in to look at the new stock and we end up talking about life in the colony for a while. It’s nice having the same faces visit every week. I have to keep an eye on the little items because they tend to get misplaced easily in such a small shop. Dealing with the heat in the summer is probably the hardest part, as the fan just moves the warm air around. Still, it’s my spot and I’ve been here long enough that everyone knows where to find me when they need a bit of something to look nice for a wedding or a local party.
