Naaz Fashion Saloon

We have been here at Shop 34 in Old Faridabad for a while now. If you know this part of Faridabad, you know it gets pretty busy during the day. Our shop isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where people come to get their hair done or get a shave. I usually open up early in the morning and start by cleaning the mirrors and getting the towels ready. The sign outside has the name Naaz Fashion Saloon on it, which we’ve had since the start. It’s a small space, but we make it work. Most of the people who come in live right here in the neighborhood or work nearby. You can hear the traffic and the people shouting in the market while you sit in the chair. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just wait it out. It is what it is. We keep the floor swept and make sure the scissors are sharp. There is no big secret to what we do here. We just show up every day and do the work. We’ve seen the shops around us change over the years, but we are still here in the same spot. It gets dusty, so I’m always wiping things down.
