Setting up shop on New Tilpat Road in Faridabad was a big step for us. We are pretty close to Palla Chowk so there is always a lot of movement outside. Some days are very long and we get tired by evening. In the mornings, we open the shutters and start cleaning up from the day before. The area gets quite dusty because of the construction and the traffic nearby. People stop in for a quick trim or to get their hair fixed up for a wedding or a party. We try to keep things relaxed here. There isn't any fancy music playing, just the sound of the road outside. Our regulars have been coming to us for years and they usually just sit down and tell us what they want without much fuss. We know most of the people around here by name. It is a small space but we make it work with what we have. Sometimes the water pressure is low or the light flickers, but we just deal with it as it happens. We aren't trying to be like those big salons in the malls. This is a local business and we like it that way. If you are walking down New Tilpat Road, you will probably see us. We are usually just busy with someone's hair or sitting by the door when it’s quiet. That’s about it for our story and how we spend our days.
