Krishna Unisex Saloon

Krishna Unisex Saloon is tucked away in Shop No 63 at Sainik Plaza. It's in Sainik Colony, Sector 49, here in Faridabad. The shop has been around for a bit, and people know where to find us. Usually, it's pretty quiet in the mornings, but by the evening, the place gets full with folks from the colony looking to get a haircut or some color. There are a few chairs, nothing too fancy, just the standard ones that swivel. The mirrors have a few smudges sometimes because the kids touch everything when they come in with their parents. You can hear the traffic from the main road if the door stays open too long. We have the fans going most of the day because Faridabad gets so hot in the summer months. People come in, sit down, wait their turn, and talk about whatever is on the news or what's happening in the neighborhood. It’s a mix of men and women since it’s a unisex place, so the conversations vary quite a bit. Sometimes someone wants a complete change and other times it’s just a quick trim before work. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, so there's a lot of sweeping involved throughout the day. We try to keep things simple here without making a big fuss about anything. It’s just a regular spot where you can get your hair done and head back home to your family. No big deal.
