Kalra & Sons

Kalra & Sons is located at E-34 in the Nehru Ground area. This part of N.I.T. is usually humming with activity. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite a while now. It’s a basic shop, nothing too fancy to look at from the street. We’ve got our sign up, but it’s a bit weathered from the sun and rain over the years. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and a small counter where we talk to people. We don't have a team of salespeople in suits. It's usually just us, dressed in regular clothes, ready to help with whatever is needed. The Nehru Ground area has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of it. Some days are slow, giving us time to organize the back room, while other days are so busy we barely have time to eat lunch. We don’t bother with big advertisements or fancy slogans. Our way of doing things is pretty old-fashioned. We just try to be honest and do a decent job every day. The building itself is an older one, so it has its quirks, like a door that sticks in the winter. But it’s home to us. We’ve seen the kids in the neighborhood grow up and start coming in as adults. That’s the kind of place this is. We’re just a local family business trying to stay steady.
