Jahid Hair Saloon

Jahid Hair Saloon is located on Khandawli Road in Keli Gaon, which is a part of Ballabgarh, Fbd, Faridabad. This isn't a place you would find in a big mall. It is a simple village-style barbershop on a road that gets quite a bit of local traffic. The shop is just a small room with a couple of chairs that have been there for as long as I can remember. We have a few mirrors on the wall and a small shelf for the razors, creams, and powders. In Keli Gaon, everyone knows everyone, so the shop is often a place where people stop just to talk about the weather or the crops or whatever is happening in the area. The floor is concrete, and we keep a broom handy to sweep away the hair after every customer. We don't have any air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that spins fast and keeps the air moving. When the power goes out, which happens sometimes, we just open the door wider and keep working by the sunlight. It is a very basic life here. We don't use any modern booking apps or anything like that. You just come in, say hello, and wait your turn on the wooden bench. It’s a quiet spot, and I like the routine of opening up every morning and seeing the same familiar faces from the village. It is an honest way to make a living for a family like mine. We just keep doing what we know best.
