Irctc

The office for Irctc is located at 4448, Sector -46-D. It’s a bit of a funny address because it mentions Chandigarh and New Delhi and Delhi all in one line, but we are right here in the middle of it. The building is a typical structure, nothing too fancy. You see a lot of people coming and going throughout the day. We have our desks set up in a row, and there is always a stack of papers somewhere that needs attending to. Sector 46-D is a busy place. There’s a lot of noise from the street, mostly cars and the occasional horn honking. We have a small kitchenette where we make tea in the mornings. The clock on the wall is five minutes fast, but nobody has bothered to fix it yet, so we just live with it. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the corridors and different rooms. We’ve got some old wooden cabinets that hold records from several years ago. The windows are large, but they look out onto another building, so there isn’t much of a view. We just focus on the work at hand. Most of us have been working here for a long time, so we know the routine inside out. It’s just a regular office day, every day, in this part of the city. We don’t really mind the noise or the busy atmosphere. It makes the time pass a lot quicker.
