Our office is tucked away in House Number 1293 over in Sector 29. It’s part of the LIG ground floor units in the Housing Board Colony here in Faridabad. Working out of a colony like this feels different than being in a big glass building. You hear the kids playing outside and the vegetable sellers going by in the mornings. Indian Holiday Pvt Ltd has been operating from this spot for a while. It’s not a huge corporate space, just a couple of rooms where we keep our files and computers. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at maps. Sometimes the internet acts up, but we manage. People from the neighborhood often drop in just to say hello or ask about travel stuff. We have our desks set up near the window so we can see what’s happening on the street. It gets a bit dusty in the summer, but that is just Faridabad for you. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. It’s just us sitting here, working through the paperwork for people's trips. We like being in the 121008 area because it’s quiet enough to get work done but close to everything else. Every day is pretty much the same, coffee in the morning and sorting out bookings until the sun goes down. It’s a decent place to work and we are glad to be here.
