Working out of Faridabad can be a bit of a challenge with the dust and the constant construction noise. Our office is located at 3C-124 in the Nit area. It is a solid part of Haryana, very industrial and busy all the time. If you walk down our street, you’ll see plenty of other small businesses and people rushing to get things done. We spend most of our time at our desks, answering emails and trying to keep the paperwork organized for Igt. The building isn’t brand new, so there’s always a little something to fix, like a squeaky door or a flickering light bulb. We aren’t doing anything glamorous here; it’s just the usual day-to-day grind that keeps a business like this moving. Lunch usually involves someone bringing in food from one of the local dhabas nearby, and we eat while talking about the weekend. The traffic around Nit can get pretty backed up in the evenings, so we all try to wrap things up before the rush hour hits its peak. It’s a plain office with simple furniture and a lot of files. We focus on getting the work finished so we can go home to our families. Some days are slow, and some days we can’t seem to catch a break, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of this place over the years. It feels real here, even when it is stressful and the air feels heavy with the summer heat that hits this part of Faridabad.
