Hilton Hotel Janak Puri New Delhi

We are based over in Faridabad at the Height & Weight location, even though the name mentions Janak Puri in New Delhi. It’s a bit of a strange situation with the names and locations, but we’ve been working out of this spot in Haryana for quite a while now. The building is easy enough to find once you get into the right part of Faridabad. We don't have the big flashy lights or the giant lobby you might expect from the name. It’s a lot more low-key and practical here. We spend our time managing the day-to-day things and making sure all the paperwork and bookings are in order. Most of the staff lives locally, so we know the area pretty well and don't have to commute too far. We have a few rooms set up for the office work and a small area in the back where we take our lunch breaks. It’s a lot of sitting at the computer and making sure the schedules are all correct for the guests. Sometimes it gets a bit hectic when several things happen at once, but mostly it's just a steady flow of work. We aren't a huge team, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. From answering the phones to filing the papers, we just get on with it. It’s a practical way to run things, and it works for us. We are usually here early and stay until the work is finally finished for the day.
