Delhi Metro Rail Corporation

Down in Sector-3 HBC Faridabad, we have this Delhi Metro Rail Corporation office at house number 2072. It is tucked away in a residential area, so it does not feel like the busy metro stations you see in the city. Most of the work here is administrative and keeping track of things for the Haryana side of the lines. We spend a lot of time looking at schedules and maintenance logs. The office itself is quite plain, with just the basic stuff we need like tables, chairs, and some old filing cabinets. Faridabad weather is usually a bit dusty, so we are always cleaning the desks. We get a lot of people from the neighborhood asking about the metro or looking for jobs, but we mostly just handle the paperwork that comes from the main headquarters. There is a small tea stall just around the corner where we usually go during the break. It is a quiet street for the most part, except for when school lets out nearby. We have been here for a bit now and the routine is pretty much the same every day. We come in early, check the updates, and make sure everything is recorded properly. It is steady work and we do not have much to complain about. The people working here are mostly locals from the nearby sectors, so the commute is not too bad for most of us.
