British Airways Plc

Our place is over at A-36 in Sainik Colony, which is part of Sector 49 in Faridabad. It’s a fairly quiet area compared to the main city center, which is nice for getting work done. Even though the name on the door says British Airways Plc, the office itself feels very much like a local Faridabad operation. We spend a lot of time on computers and dealing with international time zones, so sometimes we’re here quite late or very early in the morning. The building at A-36 is a standard residential-style structure that’s been converted for our needs. There’s a small garden area out front that we try to keep tidy, though the Haryana dust makes that a bit of a losing battle most weeks. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of desks and some filing cabinets. We don't have a big reception desk or fancy coffee machines. Usually, we just make a pot of tea in the back. Working in Sector 49 means we’re away from the worst of the traffic, but the power goes out occasionally, so we have to rely on the generator quite a bit. It’s a steady kind of life here. We handle the paperwork and the coordination stuff that keeps things moving behind the scenes. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with a posh office; we just want to get the day's tasks finished so we can go home. It’s a practical setup for a practical job.
