Aman Hair Saloon

Aman Hair Saloon is over at Shop No -1377 in the H.B.C Colony of Sector 29, Faridabad. We are quite close to Holy Child School, so in the afternoons you see all the parents waiting for their kids. The shop is a simple room with tiled floors and a few rotating chairs for the customers. I spend my mornings mostly dusting the counters and getting the razors and scissors ready for the day. It gets pretty quiet during the middle of the day when it is hot outside. People from the colony come in for a quick trim or a shave. We have a small television in the corner that usually plays the news or some old movies to keep the customers occupied while they wait. The lights are bright so we can see what we are doing. It is not a very big space but it works for us. We've been in this part of Faridabad for some time now and know most of the neighbors. Sometimes the school kids come in to ask for the time or just peek inside. The door stays open most of the day to let the breeze in, though it brings in some dust from the street too. It is just a practical place to get a haircut without any fuss or fancy decorations. We just do the work and go home. That is how the day goes here in Sector 29.
