About Vinayaka Vidhya Bhavan Nursery & Primary School – Education in Erode
Our little school is tucked away on Rajaji Street in Veerappanchatram. Being a nursery and primary school, it’s mostly about the younger kids. It can get very loud in the mornings because little children have a lot of energy. We have about twenty-seven rooms, and the street outside is usually lined with bicycles and parents. Rajaji Street is a bit narrow, so it gets crowded during drop-off and pick-up times. Inside, the walls have some drawings and charts to help the kids learn their letters. It isn't a massive campus like the high schools, but it works for what we need. The teachers here are used to dealing with crying toddlers and messy lunch breaks. We spend a lot of time just making sure everyone is safe and following the lessons. Erode is a busy town, but this neighborhood feels a bit more like a tight community. Most of the children live within walking distance. We don't use any fancy technology; it's mostly books, slates, and the teacher speaking. In the afternoons, when the kids leave, the place gets suddenly quiet, and that's when we tidy up for the next day. We’ve been operating in this spot for a while now. Parents know us by name, and we know their families. It’s just a neighborhood school where kids start their first years of learning. There are no big slogans here, just the daily routine of teaching and looking after children.
