Kalaivani Nursery And Primary School

We've been here on Tiruchangode Road in Pallipalayam for quite a while now. Most people in Namakkal know where we are because we’ve been part of the neighborhood for years. It’s just a small place meant for the younger kids, specifically the nursery and primary ones who are just starting out. Mornings get pretty busy and a bit loud when the parents drop everyone off at the gate. We have a few basic classrooms and a bit of space in the back for them to run around and play during their breaks. It's definitely not a fancy place, but it works perfectly for what we need to do every day. The teachers mostly live nearby in the surrounding streets, so they know most of the families personally. Sometimes the main gate squeaks a bit when it's windy, and we’ve been meaning to oil it for a few weeks. We spend our days teaching the basics like the alphabet, numbers, and some simple songs. There’s usually a lot of noise during the lunch break, which is exactly what you expect with children of this age group. We try our best to keep things organized, but as anyone who works with small kids knows, things can get a bit messy or chaotic sometimes. The building is painted a bright color so it's easy to spot from the road even when traffic is heavy. We have a couple of trees in the yard that give a bit of shade in the hot afternoons.
