Aaraa Play School

The school is tucked away on 2nd Street in Urc Nagar, over in the Thindal area of Erode. It’s actually based in Sri Ellam. If you live around here, you probably see the parents dropping their little ones off early in the morning. Aaraa Play School is mostly about keeping the toddlers busy so they aren't just running around at home all day. We have some colorful mats and toys spread out in the rooms. It’s not a huge place, just a regular house converted for the kids. Sometimes the noise levels get quite high when everyone is playing at once. We spend a lot of time cleaning up spilled juice or helping kids with their shoes. Thindal is a nice enough neighborhood, fairly quiet except for when we are out in the small play area making a racket. We don’t do big fancy events, just the normal day-to-day stuff like drawing and nap time. Most of the staff live nearby, so we know the families well. It’s a lot of work watching kids this age because they never sit still for more than five minutes. We just try to keep them safe and maybe teach them a few songs or how to share their toys. The building stays cool enough, but we keep the fans going all day long. It’s a simple operation here at Sri Ellam, just helping out local parents who need a place for their children during the workday.
