Tiny Tots Kids Play School

Our little school is at No.109, Ganthiji Street-11 in the Kollampalayam area of Erode. It’s a small place on a narrow street, so parking can be a bit of a headache if too many people come at once. We have a few rooms dedicated to the play school. The walls are painted in bright colors, though some spots need a bit of a touch-up where the kids have rubbed their hands. We have some basic toys, some floor mats, and a few small tables for drawing. Erode gets quite humid, so the fans are almost always on. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood—dogs barking or people selling things on the street—while the kids are inside. The children mostly come from the houses right here in Kollampalayam. We know most of the parents by name because we see them every single day at the gate. There is no big office or corporate feel here. It’s just us and the kids. We spend the morning helping them with their numbers and letters. Sometimes they spill their water or drop their snacks, and we just clean it up and keep going. It’s a very practical, local setup for families who need a place for their little ones to spend a few hours learning and playing. When the rainy season comes, we have to be careful about the roof leaking in one corner, but we manage just fine and keep things running.
