If you look for us on Poondurai Road in Moolapalayam, you will find our small center for kids. It is right there in Erode and we have been working with young children for a good bit of time. The rooms are mostly full of toys, blocks, and colorful mats where the little ones sit. We spend the day helping them learn their ABCs and numbers without making it too hard for them. There is a lot of noise during the play sessions but that is just how it goes with toddlers. We have a routine that we follow every day starting from the morning arrivals until the parents come back in the afternoon. Sometimes the kids get cranky and need a nap but mostly they are busy drawing or playing with each other. The building is easy to find and it is kept clean because kids spend so much time on the floor. We don't use any complicated systems or fancy words to describe what we do. It is just a place where children can stay safe and learn some basic things before they grow up and go to bigger schools. People in Moolapalayam know us as a quiet spot on the road where the local kids spend their morning hours. It’s a straightforward job taking care of them and making sure they are happy while their parents are busy with other things. We just keep it simple and focus on the daily needs of the children.
