Tam Herb

Our shop, Tam Herb, is located at 1227-G on Mettur Road. It’s a busy road and the traffic can be quite something during peak hours. When you walk into our place, the first thing you notice is the smell of all the different herbs we have in stock. It’s a very earthy, natural scent that sticks with you. We spend a lot of our time sorting through bags and making sure everything is dried and stored the right way. It’s not a high-tech operation. We use simple scales and a lot of manual labor to get things ready. The walls are lined with shelves and there are sacks piled up in the corners. It can get a bit cramped when a new shipment arrives, but we manage. People who live nearby often stop by just to see what’s new. We don’t do a lot of fancy advertising or social media stuff. Most people find us just by passing by on Mettur Road or hearing about us from someone else. It’s a very old-fashioned way of doing business, but it’s what we know. We have a small table in the back where we sit and have our lunch. It’s a humble setup, but we are proud of the work we do every day with these plants. We don't try to be anything we aren't, just people working with what the land provides.
