Lanco Packers

Lanco Packers is situated at 9, Ottukara Chinniah Street. It’s a small street, but we stay quite busy with all the packing we have to do. Our days are filled with the sound of packing tape being pulled and boxes being stacked up. We’ve got a system down now after being here at number 9 for so long. The space is filled with bubble wrap, cardboard, and crates. It’s not the prettiest place to look at, but it’s very functional for what we need. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few of us who know how to wrap things so they don't break. Ottukara Chinniah Street is a good place to be because it’s tucked away enough that we can work without too much distraction. We usually have a radio playing in the background to keep us going while we work through the piles of orders. Sometimes we run out of tape or boxes at the worst time and have to scramble to get more, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t pretend to be a massive logistics firm. We are just local packers who know our trade. We take pride in getting things boxed up properly and sent on their way. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our feet all day long here in our little shop. We just keep packing until the job is done.
