Selva Steels

Selva Steels is our little corner of the world at 61, Rakkiapalayam in Vijayapuram. It’s a place where you’ll always find stacks of metal and the smell of industrial work in the air. We have a yard that’s almost always full of steel in various shapes and sizes. Sometimes it’s a bit of a puzzle trying to move a new load in without hitting anything else. The office is really just a small hut at the edge of the property where we keep the phone and the scales. It gets pretty loud when the guys are cutting metal or loading the trucks, so we often have to shout to be heard. We don't have any polished sales materials or a fancy website. If someone needs steel, they just come by and we see what we have in stock. Vijayapuram is a hardworking town, and we think we fit in pretty well with that spirit. The guys who work here are mostly locals who have been around for years. We handle the heat and the heavy lifting without complaining too much. It’s a physical job, and we usually end the day pretty tired. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just supplying steel to the people who need it. It’s an honest day’s work for an honest day’s pay, and that’s plenty for us.
