S.R.K. Industries

Our place is right across from the S.K.M. Feeds Factory on Saavadipalayam Road. It is pretty easy to spot once you get to Nanjai Uthukuli. S.R.K. Industries is a manufacturing setup, mostly focused on industrial parts and supplies for local clients. We have been at 4/619B for quite some time now. The road out front gets pretty dusty with all the trucks passing by at all hours. Inside, it is mostly machines and the constant sound of work being done. We aren't a big corporation or anything. It's just a group of us who know how to handle the equipment properly. Every morning starts with a quick check of the machines and a cup of tea. We spend most of the day on the floor. It is not a quiet job at all. We have a lot of metal and tools lying around on various benches. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to sit outside and wait it out. It is a bit of a trek for some people to get here, but it's where we work. We don't have a receptionist. Usually, one of us just wipes our hands and comes to the door if someone knocks. We deal with a lot of local orders from other businesses nearby. It is steady work. We keep our tools sharp and our eyes on the tasks. No fancy office chairs here, just wooden benches and heavy tables. We have grown used to the grease and the noise.
