S. S. Exports

You can find S. S. Exports at 1 Vairam Street in the Municipal Colony area. It is a pretty straightforward location, and the street is usually not too congested, which is a relief compared to other parts of the city. We have a small office here where we manage all our export activities. There are just a few of us in the office most days. We have some basic furniture, a few computers, and a lot of shelving for all the folders we have to keep for the tax people. The walls are mostly bare, except for a calendar and a map. We don't really have a reception area; if you walk through the door, you are right there with us. We spend our time tracking orders and making sure the suppliers are sending what they promised. It is a lot of checking and re-checking. Sometimes the courier is late, and we have to wait around for them before we can close up for the day. We have a small kettle in the back to make coffee, which we do pretty often. The building is older, so the plumbing can be a bit temperamental, but we manage. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. We are just a local business doing our work every day, making sure the goods get sent out from Vairam Street to wherever they need to go in the world. It is a regular job with regular people.
