Moringa Exports

Our place, Moringa Exports, is situated out near E. B Nagar in V Vellode, specifically at Unja Kattu Thottam. It’s a bit out of the way compared to the city center, but it works for us because we need the space. Being near the fields helps since we deal with a lot of natural products. The air is a bit cleaner out here, though the roads get muddy when it rains. We have a small shed where we process everything and a tiny office attached to the side. It's usually just two or three of us working at a time. We spend a lot of our day talking to the local farmers around Vellode to see what they have ready for us. Then we bring it back, sort it, and get it ready to be shipped out. It's a lot of dusty work and my clothes usually end up smelling like dried leaves by the end of the shift. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. Most of our equipment is second-hand and we do a lot of things by hand because it’s just easier that way. Sometimes the truck driver gets lost trying to find Unja Kattu Thottam, so we have to go out to the main road to wave him down. It’s a quiet life for the most part. We just keep our heads down and try to do a good job with what we have. It’s better than being stuck in a crowded office.
