Gomadhi Engineering Service

Gomadhi Engineering Service is located at No. 214 on Athiyur Road in Chinnegoundanvalasu. It’s a bit of a quiet area compared to the big city industrial hubs, and we like that about it. The road outside is mostly used by local tractors and people heading into the nearby villages. Our workshop is a plain building with a corrugated metal roof that gets quite loud when it rains. We do a lot of repair work and custom engineering for the machinery that people use around here. Inside, you’ll find a mix of welding equipment and some heavy-duty drills. It’s usually just a few of us working at a time, so it doesn't get too hectic. We keep our tools on big wooden boards on the wall so we can find them quickly. There is no air conditioning, just a couple of big pedestal fans that move the air around. We don’t have any formal uniforms or anything like that; we just wear what’s comfortable for getting dirty. Most of our customers are people we’ve known for years who just drop by when something breaks. We spend a lot of time troubleshooting problems that aren't always easy to fix. It’s a practical kind of life, and we take things one job at a time. After we finish up for the day, we usually spend a few minutes tidying up the floor and locking the gate before heading home.
