Dawn Engineering India Private Ltd is out here in Erode district, specifically around Anthiyur. We are located at 152 Pudukkaradiyano which is near Brammadesam Post. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here but we like the space we have. There is always noise from the machines and the smell of metal in the air. We have a crew that has been with us for years. They know how the old machines sound when they are acting up. It isn't a shiny new factory with robots. We use our hands and we get grease on our clothes most days. Sakthi Nagar is a quiet area usually, except for when the trucks come by to pick up parts. We keep a ledger on the main desk that is a bit worn out now. The ceiling fans hum all day to keep the heat down but it still gets pretty warm in the afternoons. Sometimes we sit outside for a tea break near the gate where we keep the metal scraps piled up. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just take the orders that come in and try to finish them before the deadline. If a machine breaks, we fix it ourselves. It is a practical way to run things. We’ve been at this address for a long time now and we know the local roads well. It’s just a regular engineering shop doing regular work for people who need parts made for their businesses.
