Artiq Iron & Steels

Artiq Iron & Steels is based in Perundurai. It is a town where people know the value of hard work, and our yard is no different. We deal with heavy metal, so it is a noisy and industrial kind of place. You will hear the sound of clanging steel and the hum of machinery from the moment we open the gates. We don't have a fancy front office with a receptionist. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us near the stacks of iron rods or steel sheets. Our clothes usually have a bit of grease or rust on them, but that's just the trade. We focus on getting the right sizes and quantities for the local construction projects. Perundurai has a lot of growth happening, so we stay busy trying to keep up with the demand. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find glossy brochures. We just write down what you need on a slip of paper and get to work loading it up. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when the sun beats down on the metal and makes it too hot to touch without thick gloves. Other days, we are dodging rain while trying to keep the inventory from getting too weathered. It is a simple, tough business, and we like it that way. We aren't looking to change the world, just to provide the steel that builds the local houses and shops.
