Studio7 is based in the City Gallery building on Pookkattupadi Road. We’re right near Toll Junction in Edapally, which is a very busy spot to be. Our work is a bit of a mix. We do interior design and we also handle real estate stuff. The office is usually full of fabric swatches, wood samples, and property brochures. It’s not the neatest place, but we know where everything is. A few of us work here together. Some days we are stuck at the desks drawing up plans, and other days we are out visiting houses or meeting people at sites. Edapally has changed a lot, and there are always new buildings going up. We try to help people figure out what to do with their spaces. Real estate can be a bit of a headache with all the legal papers and finding the right buyers. We spend a lot of time just talking to people and explaining how things work. It’s a lot of back and forth. We don't have a big corporate setup. It’s just a local office where we try to get things done. Sometimes the designs take a long time to get right, and we end up staying late. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay busy. It’s a decent living and we like being in this part of town.
