Rainbow Packaged Drinking Water

We are based in Palackamattom, over in Kolenchery. It is a very green area with plenty of rain throughout the year. Running a water business here means we are always around wet floors and the constant sound of plastic bottles clinking together. We have these big blue crates stacked up everywhere you look. The trucks come early in the morning to load up for the local shops. It is a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around. My back hurts on some days, but that is just part of the job we do. We have a small office section, but we spend most of our time out on the floor with the rest of the staff. The machines for sealing the caps make a rhythmic thumping noise that you get used to. We have to keep everything very clean, so there is a lot of mopping involved every single day. The local workers here are a good bunch of people; we have known their families for many years. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the bottles and the delivery routes. Sometimes the mountain roads get tricky when it rains hard, so we have to be careful with the driving. We take our lunch under the porch when the sun is out. It is a quiet life if you ignore the machine noise. We just provide what people need.
