Amalgam Foods Beverages Ltd.

We are based at Amalgam House on Bristow Road, which is over on Willingdon Island in Kochi. The island has a very different feel compared to the rest of the city; it’s more quiet and industrial with the docks nearby. Our building is a bit of a landmark for us, and it’s where we handle the food and beverage side of the business. The air always has a bit of a salty sea smell because of the port. Working here means we are away from the main city traffic, which is nice, but it can feel a bit isolated sometimes. Inside the office, it’s mostly old-school desks and plenty of paperwork. We spend our days coordinating with suppliers and looking at production schedules. It’s not a modern glass building; it has more character than that. We have people here who have been with the company for decades, so there is a lot of history in these walls. Lunch breaks are usually spent somewhere nearby or just in the office chatting. The pace here is steady, not frantic like some other places. We just focus on our products and making sure things are moving through the supply chain properly. It’s a practical place for a company that deals with actual goods. If you’re driving down Bristow Road, you can’t really miss us. It’s a solid, dependable spot for the work we do. There are always plenty of ships passing by the horizon.
