Our office is over on Marar Road, right by West Island. We’ve been set up here for a while now, working out of the old Hailey Buria Tea Estates building at number 432. It’s a busy spot in Kochi, especially with all the movement around the port area. You can hear the ships sometimes if the wind is right. We mostly focus on lifestyle goods and tea-related bits since we are connected to the estate side of things. It’s not a fancy glass office or anything like that. Just a solid place with high ceilings and a lot of history in the walls. The staff here mostly comes from around Ernakulam, so we all know the local shortcuts to avoid the traffic on the way in. Some days it gets pretty humid, which is just part of living in this part of Kerala. We spend a lot of time checking on stock and making sure the orders are lined up properly. There isn’t a big marketing team or anything like that here. It’s just us doing the paperwork and keeping the supply moving. When you walk in, you’ll see crates and files everywhere. It’s a practical workspace for practical people. We don't really do the whole corporate meeting thing; usually, we just talk over tea in the breakroom. If you are looking for us, look for the old tea estate signs near the road. It’s easy enough to find once you get onto the island.
