Nadan Bhakshya LLP is right on the ground floor of the building in Vyttila. If you know Cochin, you know how Major Road gets. It is almost always packed with cars and people trying to get somewhere else. Our building number is 52/2104-D, which sounds complicated but it's just where we are. We sit there and deal with the food business every day. It’s not some big high-rise office with glass walls. It’s a ground floor spot where you can hear the horns from the road all day long. The Ernakulam heat is something else, especially in the afternoons. We have a few fans going all the time. Being in Cochin means there is always something happening outside. We just keep our heads down and do the work we need to do. Nadan food is what we are about, but we don't go around shouting about it. We just prepare things and hope people like the taste. The staff here are mostly local people who know the shortcuts around Vyttila. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when things are slow. It’s a practical place for a practical business. We don’t have a lot of decorations on the walls or anything. It's just a functional space for us to run the company. Most days are the same, just keeping the place clean and waiting for the next delivery to arrive. It is a lot of work but we have gotten used to the noise.
