Down in Panampilly Nagar, things are usually a bit quiet compared to the rest of Ernakulam, which is why we like being here at Lig 767. Man Foodworks Kaloor Llp is basically a small team of us working out of this space. It’s an older building, and you can tell by the way the windows rattle when the wind picks up. We spend most of our hours dealing with food orders and making sure everything is packed up right. The neighborhood has a lot of trees, so it feels a bit more relaxed than being right in the center of the city. We don't have a big corporate office or anything. It’s just us, some counters, and the equipment we need to get the job done. Sometimes the delivery guys get lost looking for the PO address, so we usually have to stand out front to wave them down. We’ve been here for a while now, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place. It’s about getting the ingredients sorted and making sure the kitchen area stays clean. There’s always something that needs fixing or a box that needs moving. We don't really do big advertisements. Most people just know us from being in the area. It’s a practical way to run a business, just focusing on the day-to-day tasks and making sure the food goes out on time. It gets tiring, but it's what we do for a living.
