Hotel Jaybees

Palarivattom is a busy corner of Ernakulam and our place is right on Civil Lane Road. You can find us pretty easily since we are near City Silks, which is a big landmark around here. Hotel Jaybees has been part of this neighborhood for a while. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most modern place in Kochi. We just provide a spot for people to stay while they are in the city for work or shopping. The traffic on Civil Lane Road can be quite something during the day, so it is always a bit lively outside our front door. We have a small team of people who help us keep the rooms ready and the common areas clean. Most of our days are spent dealing with the humidity and making sure the fans and lights are working right. We get a mix of people staying here, some for just a night and others who stay longer for work. It is a practical kind of place. We don't have a big lobby or fancy carpets. We just have rooms that are clean and a staff that knows the local area well. If someone needs to know which bus to take or where to get a good tea, we usually have the answer. We've seen Palarivattom grow so much since we opened, but our way of doing things has stayed pretty much the same over all these years.
