Cochin Durbar Hotel

You can find our hotel in Neyathode, which is right opposite the international airport in Nedumbassery. Being so close to the terminal means we see people from all over the place. Some stay for a few hours while waiting for a flight, and others stay a few days for business. The hotel is a straightforward building. We have rooms that are basic but have everything you need, like a bed and a working shower. It can get a bit noisy with the planes taking off, but most guests are used to that. We have a dining area where we serve local Kerala food and some other things. The staff is used to people checking in at odd hours because of the flight schedules. We try to keep the check-in process quick so people can just go to sleep. It is not a luxury five-star place, but it is clean and the location is hard to beat if you have an early morning flight. We’ve been here in Nedumbassery for several years. We know the airport area very well. Sometimes guests ask us for directions or help with a taxi, and we do what we can. The lobby is a bit small but it works. We just want to provide a reliable place for travelers to stop for a bit. It’s a busy spot but we try to keep things moving.
