Cochin Tea Llp is located out in Mulavukad, at the Thaipadath House. If you know Ernakulam, you know Mulavukad is its own kind of place near the water. We have been working with tea for some time now. Our house is basically where everything happens, from the packing to the phone calls. We aren't a big fancy brand you see on billboards, just a local tea business trying to provide something decent. The air around here is nice and it’s a good place to work. We deal with different types of tea leaves and blends. Some days are slow when the rain hits Ernakulam hard, but usually, we are busy moving boxes and checking the quality of the batches. The 682504 area is quiet but we have our regular routine. We don't use a lot of big machines, it is mostly hands-on work. We take the tea from the sources and get it ready for whoever needs it. It’s a simple life really. We wake up, check the stock, and see what the orders for the day look like. Thaipadath House has been in the family for a while so it made sense to run the business from here. It keeps the costs down and we are always close to the work. You can smell the tea when you walk in. We aren't looking to expand into a giant corporation, we just like the tea business and the pace of life on the island.
