This is where we run things from, right here in Thrissur. The address is a bit of a mouthful, Madappilliy House in Poopatthy, which is near Mala in Kerala. It is a local spot, far away from the big city skyscrapers and the noise of the main highways. The name mentions Dubai because we have some connections there, but this house is our main base for the India side of the business. The office is basically just a part of the house that we use for work. It is very green around here, especially when it rains a lot during the monsoon season. We handle interior work and design stuff from this desk. You might see some samples of wood or different tiles lying around the room. It is a family-run sort of feel. We do not have a corporate HR department or any fancy uniforms for the staff. We just talk to our clients and coordinate with the workers out on the different sites. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we have to wait a bit to get back on the computers. It is a slower-paced life in the village, but the work keeps us moving. People around here know us by name. We do not do much advertising; word of mouth usually brings new people to the door. We spend a lot of time on the phone or driving out to see how the various projects are coming along. It is a humble way to do business.
